"In order to discover the mystery of Grayspace Entitiy ecology, the Department of Science and Technology of Mirroria launched a project codenamed "Listener", which even attempted to artificially breed Grayspace Entities. In the end, "Test Subject 6: Rudolph" was born, a fusion of Grayspace Entity and native creatures in Vera. It remains to be seen if its birth is the key to solving the Grayspace Entity crisis, or if it was the opening of Pandora's Box."

Vera: South of Silvercoast Lab

The location of Rudolph is found south of Silvercoast Lab in Vera. This is the first area in the Vera map that you unlock. Use the Silvercoast Research Station Spacerift to make the travel time shorter.

Using a Forced Decipher on the World Boss Chest will give the player a smaller amount of EXP, as well as some ore. We are yet to confirm if Rudolph also drops Vehicle Upgrade Materials that can range from common to legendary.

Use Ice Weapons Attack from a Distance Continually Run Around

Use Ice Weapons

Rudolph's weakness is ice elemental damage. Utilize your ice weapons and their powerful attacks.

All Ice Shell Characters and Weapons

Attack from a Distance

Majority of Rudolph's attacks are short ranged, and dodging its attacks is also easier when done from afar. Use bows and other weapons that are long range.

Continually Run Around

Rudolph attacks mostly with a large AoE. Also, some attacks are continuous, and you can still get hit after successfully dodfing once.

Continuously running helps avoid these attacks while saving your dodges for more deadly attacks later.

Invite friends

There's almost no way of beating any World Boss alone. Invite friends or other players through the World chat. There should at least be 4-6 players battling Rudolf.

Make sure at least one of the players on your team is a healer.
How to Add Friends

Use heavy weapons to break shields

The most troublesome part about fighting boss enemies is breaking their shield. Use weapons with great shatter abilities like Huma or Meryl to break its shields easily.

Prepare food beforehand

World bosses deal a lot of damage with each attack so players should be prepared with food to heal themselves.

Antler Uppercut Lightning Wave Lightning Strikes Prancing Attack Leap Attack

Antler Uppercut

After a quick charge, Rudolph throws an uppercut with its antlers in an upward motion. Simply dodge this attack by dodging to the side as the attack only goes upward.

Lightning Wave

Rudolph releases a wave of lightning in a cone shape just directly in front of it. This attack is one fo the easiest to dodge as it takes a while to charge. Use this to your advantage and trigger Phantasia at the right moment.

How to Trigger Phantasia

Lightning Strikes

Rudolph casts multiple lightning strikes that follow you wherever you go. Once you get caught in it, it is difficult to escape. Avoid this attack by continuously running away from the red target locations.

Prancing Attack

Probably Rudolph's signature attack and one of the most deadly with a large AoE. It prances and continually jumps towards you in a deer-like fashion. Continually run away and dodge at the right moment to avoid this attack.

Leap Attack

In one leap, Rudolph targets and lands on top of you from above. This attack deals the most damage with only one hit. This can be difficult to avoid, but dodging at any direction 2 seconds after it leaps should help avoid the attack.

What to do if Rudolph is not Spawning?

Wait for an Hour

After a World Boss has been defeated, it will respawn exactly one hour after it has been defeated, so waiting around for it to come back is not recommended.

Go to a Different Channel

Check the World Chat for player updates on which channels world bosses are at. Transfer to that channel to join other players.
