Using a Forced Decipher on the World Boss Chest will give the player a smaller amount of EXP, as well as some ore.
Magma will also drop Vehicle Upgrade Materials that can range from common to legendary. You do not need to open the boss chest to get the Vehicle Upgrade Materials. However, opening the world boss chest will also give you more Vehicle Upgrade Materials.

Magma is weak to ice elemental damage, and you can take a chunk out of its health using powerful attacks using Frigg, Meryl, and Tsubasa's weapons!

Magma tends to wind-up before attacking, and is a telltale sign that it's about to unleash its powerful AOE attacks. Dodge them to trigger Phantasia easily!
Magma leaves a trail of quick sand in its wake and while it doesn't damage, it makes your character move slow and unable to dodge!
If you do get caught in quicksand, use your Jetpack to avoid any follow-up attacks from Magma!

There's almost no way of beating any World Boss alone. Invite friends or other players through the World chat. Make sure at least one of the players on your team is a healer.
How to Add Friends
The most troublesome part about fighting boss enemies is breaking their shield. Use weapons with great shatter abilities like Huma or Meryl to break its shields easily.
World Bosses deal a lot of damage with each attack so players should prepare food to heal themselves to avoid getting knocked out during the fight!

Magma will roar and whip up a sandstorm that encloses the entire arena. Apart from making the screen slightly less visible, it also prevents players from leaving the boss arena!
After diving beneath the ground, Magma will suddenly lunge out of the ground two to three times. Getting hit by this attack will knock you off your feet and make you susceptible to its other attacks!
Magma slowly rears up and unleashes a series of explosions that can cover the entire boss arena, and is one of its most dangerous attacks. Run opposite and to Magma's side to avoid getting hit by these explosions.
Magma will take aim and fire a projectile at the targeted player. While the missile has the same AOE size as its Sand Explosion attack, it's relatively slow and easy to dodge to trigger Phantasia!
After a World Boss has been defeated, it will respawn exactly one hour after it has been defeated, so waiting around for it to come back is not recommended.
