Get Into the Air

Tower of Fantasy - Jetpack Dash

You'll need to be in the air to perform the Jetpack Dash. Tap the Jetpack trigger key (2) to lift off, or find a cliff to jump from.

Move Forward in the Air

Tower of Fantasy - Jetpack Dodge

Once airborne, move forward with W.

Press Dodge to Boost in the Air

Tower of Fantasy - Arriving with a Jetpack

You can dodge while mid-flight in any direction. Dodging will move you faster than just using the Jetpack alone. This also saves you a lot of stamina for your Jetpack.

To do this, tap the dodge trigger (right-click on the mouse). At the end of the dodge, press and hold the Jetpack trigger (2) to turn it back on, then the forward key again (W).

Repeat the process, and you'll be at your destination in no time! Remember that dodging has cooldowns, so don't use all your dodges at once. Time your dodges, allowing your stamina to recover in order to maintain your Jetpack Dashes over greater distances!

Perform Jetpack Dash on Mobile

Jetpack Dash on Mobile
The Jetpack Dash Track is possible to perform on mobile devices, and follows the same method as the PC version. Instead of keys, however, you'll be pressing the on-screen buttons to perform this movement trick.

  1. Press the Jetpack button to get airborne.
  2. On the left half of the screen, control the direction you want to go, then press the Dodge button.
  3. Alternate between these two buttons while continuing to aim on the left half of the screen.

Jetpack Dash Benefits

Jetpack
The Jetpack Dash is an invaluable early-game skill that will allow you to travel farther and faster. While it isn't necessary to learn to progress the game, it sure makes getting around the open world a heck of a lot easier.

Cross Large Bodies of Water

Cross Large Bodies of Water size:440x197
This trick is especially useful early on in the game, as you can get to the second area without the Jetboard Relic.

To reach Banges (the second area) without the Jetboard, head to the Arena on the easternmost island of Astra and climb the tower. From there, perform the Jetpack Dash trick to cross the channel of water.

Avoid Powerful Enemies on the Ground

If you want to get ahead in your adventure, you might find yourself traveling areas containing enemies much higher than your current level. Instead of engaging them head-on, soar undetected over them with the Jetpack Dash.
