Tower of Fantasy - How to Unlock the Map

Unlocking the full map can show you the locations of important spots and items. Learn how to unlock the map in Tower of Fantasy with our guide!

1 Go to an Omnium Tower
2 Get “Terrain Data” from the Samoyed
3 Check out your new map!

1. Go to an Omnium Tower

Tower of Fantasy - Omnium Tower

Head to an Omnium Tower: it's a large tower with rotating rings at the very top. You can also try to follow the ray of blue light in sky to get to it.

Look for It on the Map

If you can't spot an Omnium Tower in the distance, you can use your map. Check the image above for what icon to look out for.

2. Get “Terrain Data”

Once you reach the top of the tower, approach the Samoyed, the orange robot, and it unlock the Map for you.

3. Check out the Map!

And there you have it! Scroll your mouse or use the slider on the left of the screen to zoom in and out of the map. The closer you zoom in, the more locations it will show.

How to Use the Map

Map Controls

Controls M Map Button

Click on the M button on your keyboard or tap the Map icon on your screen to access your Map.

Use Map to Scan the Area

Tower of Fantasy - Map

Once a map is unlocked, it will show the locations of Spacerifts, Training Facilities, Strongholds, and Boss Battles. It can also show you nearby Password and Treasure Chests and Black and Gold Nuclei.

Use Map to Fast Travel

You can also use the Map to Fast Travel. Fast Travel allows you to teleport to specific a Omnium Tower or Spacerift.
