Go inside the Archives and talk to the Archive Receptionist to start this side mission.

| 1 |  Follow the marker to find the Shield Armor Rhino. |
| 2 |  Install the Collection Device. |
| 3 |  Collect Shield Armor Rhino's armor sample. |
| 4 |  Follow the marker to find the Gooseneck Beast. |
| 5 |  Install the Data Collection Device. |
| 6 |  Follow the marker and run away from the Gooseneck Beast. |
| 7 |  Go back to Mirroria to talk to the Archivist. |
| 8 |  Follow the marker to find the Saber-toothed Wolf and examine its footprints. |
| 9 |  Track its footprints and examine the carcass. |
| 10 |  Follow the marker and climb the rock formations to find the Saber-toothed Wolves and defeat them. |
| 11 |  Defeat the Horror Beast that appears. |
| 12 |  Go back one last time to the archivist. |
