Face Towards a Fissure When it Appears Behind You

In the Story battle against the Abyssant Weaver, it has a special move where a fissure will appear behind you. An arm will then come out to grab you and make you fail the battle.

Facing towards the fissure will prevent the arm from grabbing you while also dealing damage on the Abyssant Weaver's HP.

Use Ice or Fire Weapons

In the Joint Operations battle, the Abyssant Weaver's weakness is ice and fire elemental damage. Utilize your ice or fire weapons and their powerful attacks.

Prioritize Eliminating its Dopplegangers First

Footage taken from the Update 2.0 Vera Preview.

In the Joint Operations battle, the Abyssant Weaver has a skill where it will summon dopplegangers to attack you. The original Abyssant Weaver will be invincible while these dopplegangers are present.

Focus on defeating its dopplegangers first to avoid wasting energy and time on the original boss while its still invincible.

General Boss Tips

General Tips

Invite friends or match with a team

Tower of Fantasy - Team
There's almost no way of beating any Joint Operations Boss alone. Invite friends or wait to match with a team before entering.

Make sure at least one of the players on your team is a healer.
How to Add Friends

Use heavy weapons to break shields

The most troublesome part about fighting boss enemies is breaking their shield. Use weapons with great shatter abilities like Huma or Meryl to break its shields easily.

Prepare food beforehand

Tower of Fantasy - Creation Cooking Option.png

World bosses deal a lot of damage with each attack so players should be prepared with food to heal themselves.

Abyssant Weaver Attack Patterns

More attack patterns may be added once the Abyssant Weaver becomes available in Joint Operations and the Grayspace. Stay tuned for more updates!

Fissure Grab Attack

As mentioned above, the Abyssant Weaver has a special move where a fissure will appear behind you in the Story battle. An arm will then come out to grab you and make you fail the battle.

Facing towards the fissure will prevent the arm from grabbing you while also dealing damage on the Abyssant Weaver's HP.

Energy Strikes

The Abyssant Weaver's Energy Strikes have two variations. The first type is that the Weaver summons aberrant energy that targets you wherever you go. It is easier to dodge this attack from afar and by running away.

The second type is that the Abyssant Weaver throws the aberrant energy directly at you. This attack is also easier to dodge by running away and keeping your distance from the boss.

Giant Energy Beam

After charging the attack, the Abyssant Weaver releases a giant beam of aberrant energy. In the story battle, this beam was used as an attack and as a way for the Weaver to teleport.

It takes a while for the Weaver to charge this attack, and its AoE only ranges directly in front of the Weaver. This should make dodging this attack easier to dodge and trigger Phantasia.

How to Trigger Phantasia

Doppleganger Summon

Footage taken from the Update 2.0 Vera Preview.

As mentioned above, this Abyssant Weaver skill will summon dopplegangers to attack you. The original Abyssant Weaver will be invincible while these dopplegangers are present.

Focus on defeating its dopplegangers first to avoid wasting energy and time on the original boss while its still invincible.
