Side Missions in Tower of Fantasy give Experience Points, Coins and other rewards upon completion. Read on for a list of all the side missions and rewards, as well as how to start each side mission.

Differences Between Side Missions

Required Side Missions Needed for 100% Completion

These side missions are definitely worth doing as they are required for 100% completion. Reaching each milestone will reward players with a Gold Nucleus, Dark Crystal, Potent Omnium Crystal and Gold.

Other Side Missions are Not Required

Unlike Required Side Missions, players do not need to complete this quest in order to get 100% in the story.

However, they are still a great source for upgrade materials and coins.

How to Start Side Missions

Search for the Blue Symbol

Players can check the map for any NPCs that offer Side Missions. These missions are indicated by a black and blue symbol with an exclamation point.

Talk to the NPCs

The only way to start a Side Mission is to talk to an NPCs with a side mission symbol hovering over their head. Some Side Missions can be completed just by talking to the NPC and will start a different quest.

What are Side Missions?

Short Quests that Give EXP

One of the easiest ways to earn experience points is to do side missions. They can be done within a few minutes and give out decent experience points as well as some upgrade materials, nucleus, and more!

Experience Points are Level-scaled

Side mission experience points rewards are scaled by level. It is recommended to complete side quests during the upper levels, where it's hard to level up.

Optional Missions

Unlike the Main Quests, these side missions are completely optional, meaning you can finish the entire game without doing a single one. Beware, however, that completing the game 100% means doing all the Side Missions as well.
