The Pity System allows players of Tower Fantasy to get an SSR pull after pulling a certain amount of times. Read on to learn more about the Pity System, the difference between the Hard and Soft Pity, and how many pulls a player needs to get an SSR pull.
List of Contents
Item | Pity Counter |
---|---|
Gold / Red Nucleus | 80 |
Black Nucleus | None |
Matrix | 40 |
Players are guaranteed an SSR within their 80th pull using the Gold Nucleus. The rate of pulling strong Simulcra will depend on their rarity. While pulling an extremely rare Simulcra may be difficult right out of the bat, Tower of Fantasy is generous enough with its pulls as long as you keep playing.
In Limited Banners, a Rate-Up Character such as Nemesis in the Forgiveness and Rebirth banner has its rate skyrocketed to 50% on the Hard Pity.
Although there is no evidence of a Soft Pity in the official probability rates, players will receive a guaranteed SSR in the first 30 pulls of the Weapons Galore banner. This SSR can appear anywhere in the last few pulls before and including the 30th.
This is likely a boost to get new players started in the game, and won't repeat after hitting the Hard Pity at 80 or on other banners.
The Pity System does not reset even if a player pulls an SSR in less than 80 pulls. For example, if players pull an SSR within their first 79 pulls, they will still get another SSR on their 80th pull.
When making rolls on a Limited Banner, even if you don't make it to the 80-pull Hard Pity within the time limit, the pulls you have made so far will carry over to the next Limited Banner.
Black Nucleus which can only be found in the open-world, does not add to the Pity System counter. Players can pull hundreds of these without a guarantee of getting an SSR weapon. Players can still get an SSR pull but without any guarantees.
