Password Chests: Perfect Decipher or Forced Decipher?

For now, players may want to save up on their Password chips. A future update seen from the game's Beta suggests a better rewards system for Password Chests in the future.

Through this new mechanic, players have a chance at getting Matrices, Nuclei, Cosmetics, and more!

Use Gold Chips on World Bosses

Gold Chips are an exemption as you can only use them on World Boss Chests.

These chests can reward players with a chance at an SSR weapon. An SSR pull can only be done through opening it with a Gold Chip. Forcing it will not yield good rewards.

How to Open Password Chests

Players can use Chips to open Password chests. There are three colors of chips used for chests: blue, purple, and gold. These can open Type I(Blue), II(Purple), and III(Gold) chests, respectively

Blue and Purple Chests can be found in the open world. Gold chests can only be opened by defeating world bosses and using Gold Chips.

Forced Decipher

Using the Forced Decipher option will still open chests but with less rewards. At most using Forced Decipher will get you some Experience Points, Gold, and Food ingredients, but expect to earn about half the experience points if you don't use a Chip.

What are Password Chests?

Opening chests will give out gold, armor, weapon augments, and more. World boss chests can also give out SR and SSR weapons.

Chests also give out experience points. The rarer the chest, the more experience it gives out!

Chests will still give out Experience points even when using forced deciphers
