List of Servers: Can You Transfer Servers?

Tower of Fantasy's global release will make servers available around the world. Read on to check the list of servers per region, if you can change servers, the best server to choose for your situation, and learn what you should keep in mind when choosing a server!

Can You Transfer Servers?

During Tower of Fantasy's Dev Report on November 4, the developers finally addressed Server Transfers.

The Server Transfer feature is already available in the CN version of the game, and it looks like they will announce more details regarding the Global Versions on the second half of November!

Cannot Transfer Without Losing Progress

Currently, Tower of Fantasy's save data is tied to the server the player has selected. If you move to a different server, you will be forced to start the game over from scratch, so be sure to choose the correct server when starting the game.

Must be on the Same Server for Multiplayer

You can only make Friends and join Guilds with other players who are on the same server. If you want to play together with your friends or family outside the game, be sure to join the same server to avoid being locked out from playing Multiplayer together.

Can Still Play Together Across Different Platforms

Crossplay and cross-saves are available in Tower of Fantasy, so players on PC, iOS, and Android can all play together online so long as they are in the same server.

Best Server to Choose

Play in the Same Server as Your Friends

Players will only be able to play with their friends in the same server, so be sure to communicate with those you plan to play with in advance to ensure that you all choose the same server.

Choose a Server in your Region

In order to improve latency and ping, we advice players to pick the region closest to them. Choosing a server away from your region can result in lag.

Choose a Server with Plenty of Room

Smooth

Hot

Queue

Maintenance

The icon displayed together with each server will indicate how popular it is. Although it can be exciting to join a server with a large population, joining a Hot server can run the risk of overcrowding, with players needing to wait in queues to get into the game.

For best results, start your game in a Smooth server to ensure that you and all of your friends can enter the game with no problems.

No Duplicate Names Can Exist on the Same Server

If another player has already chosen a particular character name in the server, you cannot use that same character name. If it's a character name you really want to use, you may consider moving to another server.

What to Do When You Can't Get Into a Server

Switch Servers or Wait for Official Updates

As Tower of Fantasy experienced a heavy launch, some players are finding themselves unable to enter the server of their choice due to long queues. If this occurs, consider switching everyone in your group to a different server with a Green light to ensure that you can enter.

If this isn't an option, waiting for the issue to be resolved is always an option as the developers are hard at work to ensure a smooth experience for everyone. Try following the official twitter for status updates on improvements and if additional servers will become available.
