Not only does Ruby possess the unique Flame Resonance, but she also has great attack performance. A combination of these significantly increase the overall firepower for a team or party with fire as the main element.
Ruby's weapon, Spark, can put enemies into an Emblazen state, by hitting them with its Sparkling Collider skill attack. Once under the Emblazen effect, enemies are more vulnerable to normal attacks.
Using this skill at the beginning of a fight will turn the battle to your favor, and render enemies weak to your attacks early on.
Ruby's dodge skill, Go Dolly, allows you to throw Dolly towards a group of enemies and gather them towards one location, making it easier to target them all at once and defeat a large group faster.

In this team, Spark will be the opening weapon with its decent shatter and charge values that can build weapon charge fast while weakening enemy shields. Alternate between Spark and Scythe of the Crow to break enemy and world boss shields with powerful flame attacks.
Plus, Spark's Flame Resonance boosts fire weapon attacks immensely. While Ruby's and King's weapons place you on the offensive without much defense, utilize Zero's Omnium Shield and healing orb skill at 5 Star Advancement to help with damage reduction.
Ruby 1 Star: Ruby is great with an Emblazen effect that increases Spark attack and lowered weapon cooldown at 1 Star.
King 3 Star: Get King's added Shatter Value and increased burn effects at 1 Star Advancement first. His 3 Star Advancement also grants you extra damage for each enemy that is within 6 meters from you.
Zero 5 Star: Get Zero to at least 5 Stars to unlock the healing orb passive, skill cooldown, and a damage orb passive that increases damage and healing done for self and teammates.

With all weapons sporting high charge values, take advantage of each weapon's discharge attack that can deal a lot of damage on your enemies.
Spark and Venus are the opening weapons that attack enemies from a safe distance while gathering enough charge for Molten Shield V2 to release its Seething Rage discharge attack.
Flame damage is heightened thanks to Ruby's flame resonance as well. Use Nemesis' Pulse Lock skill to stun targets and grant you the needed advantage, plus her healing abilities to keep your HP up.

The locked-on target is confined and burned for 3 seconds, and damage equal to 26.2% of ATK + 1 is dealt to the target every second (ineffective against bosses). |
Gotcha! 【Hold Attack】 Tap and hold the normal attack button to do this after Lockdown Zone is triggered to continuously fire searing energy beams at enemies in a target direction, dealing damage equal to 40% of ATK + 2. Consumes Wanderer's endurance. |
Go, Dolly! Throw Dolly after doding. Dolly remains for 10 seconds, drawing in nearby enemies and dealing damage equal to 84.6% of ATK + 4 against them, as well as taunting them for 1.5 seconds, causing them to divert their attacks to Dolly (cannot taunt enemies when in a team). |
Dodge Dodge right before being hit to trigger Phantasia, reducing the speed enemies within the area. Become immune to hitstun for 0.5 seconds while dodging. |
Sparkling Collider Spark fires out Sparks that last for 15 seconds and bounces between the target and the Wanderer. Upon hitting the target, the Sparks slow it down for 4 seconds with a 15-second cooldown. Sparks deals more damage the further it travels. On it hit, it deals damage up to 350% of ATK + 37 and inflicts a 25-second Emblazen mark on the target. At the same time, Spark fires 4 bullets with each bullet dealing damage equal to 50% of ATK + 3 against its target. Spark's normal attacks deal 30% more damage to Emblazen-marked targets. When Sparks hit targets burned by the Wanderer, it burns or ignites the target once and deals additional damage equal to 45% of the total remaining damage (multiple burn or incendiary effects are counted together).The result calculation cooldown is 6 seconds, and the skill cooldown is 30 seconds. Passive: When Sparks is active, each time Spark Attack deals damage, the Wanderer gains 1 point of Heal with a 0.9-second cooldown, for up to 8 points of Heat. When Heat reaches the maximum, the Wanderer gains effect Ultimate Heat, increasing flame ATK by 10% for 25 seconds. |
Super Nova When weapon charge is full or Phantasia is triggered, switching to this weapon from another weapon removes all debuffs from the wielder. Spark enters a charged state, continuously blasting searing energy beams at the target location before eventually exploding, dealing damage equal to 750% of ATK + 39. When Spark hits targets burned by the Wanderer, it burns or ignites the target once and deals additional damage equal to 45% of the total remaining damage (multiple burn or incendiary effects are counted together). The result calcuation cooldown is 6 seconds. Damage immunity lasts for 1.5 seconds when the skill is active (unavailable in Apex League). |
