Choosing a gender for your character is one of the first decisions you'll have to make in Tower of Fantasy. Find out if you can change your gender and its effects in the game.

You Can Change the Gender of Your Character after the 2.0 Update

Tower of Fantasy - Choose Between Two Genders

The game will ask you to choose a gender for your character when you create a Wanderer.

The new Version 2.0 Update introduces the new item called the Character Sex Change Card that will allow you to change the gender of your character at any point in the game.

You can obtain a Character Sex Change Card from the in-game store. You also get one as maintenance compensation for the Version 2.0 Update.

Character Customization and Presets Are Locked

You can only choose among the assigned character customization options for your selected gender, and when importing Character Codes, you're only able to use codes from characters which match the gender you have selected.

Both genders have their own voice actors, so it might be worth considering which of the two voices you would rather hear.

No Other Effect on Gameplay

Beside the items above, your gender doesn't affect your performance in the game. If these aesthetic effects don't bother you, feel free to choose whichever gender you like.
