Tower of Fantasy's Banners drop Simulacrum (Characters) Weapons as well as non-Simulacrum weapons. Simulacra are very important as they are very powerful, and there is no way to get them other than through pulling on the Banner.
Limited-time weapon banners often have powerful Simulacra as possible pulls, and they are some of the strongest obtainable weapons in the game.
The limited banners use the Red Nucleus currency that cannot be used for anything else. Additionally, Flame Gold that can be obtained each time you pull on the banner are converted to Black Gold once the limited event is over, which can be used in the Weapon Store to buy weapon duplicates for upgrades.

Weapons Galore is a permanent banner that can be pulled on at any time, split into the Gold Nucleus Cache and the Black Nucleus Cache. Both currencies can be obtained via gameplay. Generally, the lineup of Weapon/Character drops will not change. Pulling on the Gold Nucleus Cache allows you to get a guaranteed SR or higher weapon every 10 pulls.
Gold Nucleus and Black Nucleus are easily obtained via pre-registration rewards, exploration rewards, being found throughout the world, and so on. They can only be used in the Permanent Choice Weapons Banner.
There are excellent characters in the permanent banner, and if you plan on rerolling, see below for our Reroll Tier List.
Dark Crystals are easily obtained through various means and gameplay. You can exchange them for the Red Nucleus currency for more pulls on the Limited Banner. They can be exchanged for other currencies and items as well.
Matrices are like accessories that can be attached to weapons. Matrices can greatly enhace your stats and have powerful passives, but there are many sources other than the banner for them. In the early game, it is more useful to have a powerful weapon than to have a powerful matrix.
Matrices can acquired through gameplay such as Joint Operations, completing quests in the Wanderer's Log, and upgrading Supressors.
While they are not useless at all, it is bottom priority among the banners. However, it also has its own exclusive currency known as Proof of Purchase and Base Chip for the permanent matrices banner, and Special Voucher and Overclocking Chip for the limited matrices banner.
Feel free to use these to pull on the banners whenever you get them as they cannot be used for anything else.
Note: The Matrices Banner unlocks at level 20. |
