Should You Use or Save Chips?

Save Type I and II Chips (Blue and Purple)

Tower of Fantasy - Password Chest (Blue)

You may want to hold off on using your Type I and II Chips on the Password Chests you come across, like in the image above.

Based on the beta version of the game, we can expect an update that gives chests better rewards, including Dark Crystals, Red Nuclei, and a new currency for buying clothes for your character.

As of writing, the game has not hinted at a version 2.0 anytime soon, but we still recommend saving a few Type I and II Chips until then.

Spend Type III Chips (Yellow)

Tower of Fantasy - Robarg World Boss

Type III Chips on the other hand, are completely safe to spend! You can use these to gain loot after defeating World Bosses.

The beta version also released a new Gold Chip that unlocks different rewards, so you won't miss out on anything with spending Type III Chips.

Bounty Missions

Tower of Fantasy - Daily Bounty

You can get chips from completing Bounty Missions everyday. You can get Type I and II Chips from completing one Bounty Mission and Type III Chips from completing all four missions.

Weekly Rewards

Tower of Fantasy - Weekly Activity Points

You can also get chips from accumulating Weekly Activity points! Once you reach enough Weekly Activity points, you can redeem the rewards at the bar on top the screen.
