This is a guide to the different Weapon Types available in Tower of Fantasy, and the best Weapon Types to equip. Learn which weapon types to use in our comprehensive guide.

Best Weapon Types

Best Weapon Type	Point
Scythes	Role: DPS ・Strong DPS choice ・Has a wide attacking range ・Deals heavy damage
Claymores	Role: Defense ・Strong tank choice ・Faster than other defensive weapons ・Easy to use against single or multiple targets
Scepters	Role: Support ・Strong healer choice ・Sufficient DPS for a support main ・Only healing weapon available SR and below

Use Weapons of 2 Different Roles

Weapons are split primarily into three roles: DPS, Defense, and Support. In your loadout of three weapons, you're best off holding two weapons of the same type. Depending on your three weapons, the combination can activate Weapon Resonance, and having two weapons of the same type will add bonuses for DPS mains, Healers, etc., allowing players to specialize more effectively.
