Vine Yawn Attack Patterns

Beam Attack

Significantly used by Vine Yawns when duplicates of it still exist, they will try to simultaneously fire off Beam Attacks at you that can knock you to the ground if you're hit.

Dive Attack

When fighting up close to the beast, it will try to dive towards you in an attack that knocks you down. It can leap a good distance, so be prepared to dodge, and if possible, execute a Perfect Dodge for an immediate counterattack.

Vine Yawn Strategies

Use Clairvoyance

Vine Yawns can make copies of itself, although this will not appear to be the case when you first encounter it. Simply use Clairvoyance to track down the original Vine Yawn and focus your attacks on it.

Attack its Weak Spot

When you are able to dodge its Dive Attack, look towards the creature. Its Weak Spot will be exposed for a few seconds – you must use this precious time to attack it, which will make the Vine Yawn slump on the ground for a few moments. Attack the beast and its Weak Spot unrelentingly at this moment.
