Missin Pound Attack Patterns

Fireball Attack

When at a distance, the Missin Pound will try to throw fireballs at you. Receiving too many hits of this type of attack can lead to being inflicted with the Burning Status Ailment, causing persistent damage until the effect wears off.

Cloud Cover

The most dangerous thing that a Missin Pound can perform is to disrupt your vision using a Cloud Cover that it secretes. With impaired vision, it is difficult to see where enemies or your allies are, or even from where attacks are coming from.

Missin Pound Strategies

Use Clairvoyance

When the enemy deploys its Cloud Cover, you can only see where things are by making use of Clairvoyance. Being able to spot the position of the Missin Pound is valuable, allowing you to strike it, which causes it to be stunned.

Deplete its Crush Gauge

Missin Pounds have a fairly low resistance to your attacks. It is easy to deplete their HP and Crush Gauge both, and causing the complete depletion of the latter will allow you to use Brain Crush to quickly rid yourself of the monster.
