Plateau Pendu Attack Patterns

Electric Bolts

Plateau Pendu - Electric Bolts

Upon catching sight of you, Plateau Pendu enemies will begin sending small bolts of electricity at you. These can be avoided easily, but enemies that are not in your immediate line of sight may be able to sneak some attacks in. Catching too many strikes of this type will cause the Shocked Status Ailment.

Dive Attacks

Plateau Pendu - Dive Attacks

When standing in one place for too long, or if any Plateau Pendu enemies get away from your line of sight, they will try to attack you by rushing you with an electrically charged dive. Receiving this hit will cause you to fall to the ground with the Shocked ailment possibly being inflicted on you.

Plateau Pendu Strategies

Use Rush Follow-Up Attacks

Plateau Pendu - Use Rush Follow-Up Attacks

Hitting a Plateau Pendu will cause it to fall to the ground. To achieve this, it is easier to use a Rush Follow-Up Attack in order to get in close to the creature, dealing it damage until it falls to the ground. This allows you to continue hammering it on foot, before it will try to fly away again.

Use Sclerokinesis

Plateau Pendu - Use Sclerokinesis

Althought taking on one Plateau Pendu is an easy task, they often come in groups. These situations may lead you to where one or two of the enemies will move out of your line of sight as you engage them, leaving you vulnerable to Electric Bolt and Dive Attacks.

Use Sclerokinesis to avoid taking damage, giving you enough time to finish off one of the enemies without interruption.
