Vase Paws Attack Patterns

Projectile Shot

Vase Paws - Projectile Shot
Once you get in closely to a Vase Paws for an attack, it will try to aggressively rear its head at you, moving it from side to side while sending streams of projectiles against you. There is a small delay between when the Vase Paws moves its head forward and the actual stream of projectiles being sent out.

Tail Spin

Vase Paws - Tail Spin

When striking at a Vase Paws in close distance, it will raise its tail upwards before spinning around for a spinning attack that can knock you onto your back.

Jumping Kick

Vase Paws - Jump Attack

The Vase Paws will crouch low first, right before jumping up quickly to attack you with a kick that will knock you to the ground. It is best to avoid these strikes, as they cannot be interrupted.

Vase Paws Strategies

Attack From Behind

Vase Paws - Attack from Behind
When the Vase Paws prepares to attack you with its Projectile Shot attack, it is best to attack it from behind as its own attack progresses. This keeps you safe from its projectiles while leaving you with the ability to render sufficient damage without interruption.

Counterattack Aggressively

Vase Paws - Attack Aggressively
Regardless of what its attack is, Vase Paws will typically move around for a few seconds before moving into its next attack against you. You can use these intervals to attack it, only moving out of the way when it tries and prepares to attack you, or if they begin grouping together.
