    You can still defeat whacka again if you didn't Tattle on it, and it will drop a normal whacka bump

    using koops's shell shield is pretty effective when a lot of whackas are on stage

    Note that you DO need to see the email to fight him. I got the 8 bumps and went straight to the pit and got screwed.

    you dont actually need to beat the game to see whacka. I got the email after chapter 6 (I had already beaten bonetail and whacked whacka 8 times on keelhaul key)
