How to Merge Overwatch Accounts

Merge PC and Console Accounts on Login

As of August 16, Overwatch players with linked console accounts were immediately prompted at login to select the accounts they wanted to merge together. Once these accounts were selected and approved, they were to be automatically merged with Overwatch 2's release on October 4.

In Blizzard's latest Overwatch 2 Status Update, they go into detail about their current progress on fixing the major issues that the game had since launch. In the status update, they mention that people who previously had problems with automatic account merging should now start to see their transferred items and progress but that this fix is still slowly being rolled out.

Manually Merge Accounts

Console

1	Open and login to Overwatch from your console.
2	Several prompts will pop up on the screen. Follow them to generate a QR code and scan it with your mobile phone.
3	Enter the code displayed on your console after scanning to create or link your console account to the Battle.net account of your choice.
4	After connecting to your Battle.net account, log into Overwatch once again to confirm and merge your accounts.

Follow the steps above to manually merge your console and Battle.net accounts for cross-progression.

PC

PC players can manually set up their linked accounts for merging at the Battle.net Connections webpage.

Merge Progression Into One Profile

Overwatch 2 - Cross-Progression
Overwatch 2's cross-progression will allow players with multiple accounts to transfer and merge all of their Overwatch progress into one profile.

Overwatch Information Transfer Details

The details that will transfer over from each account include the following:

Hero Gallery items (sprays, emotes, skins, etc.) Skill rating (separated by PC and console input pool) Gameplay statistics (separated by PC and console input pool) Endorsements Achievements Gameplay settings (kept on a per-platform basis) Custom Game options Recent Custom and Workshop Games Overwatch Credits and Overwatch League Tokens

Battle.net Account Required

Players on each platform require a Battle.net account to carry over progress and in-game cosmetics and enable cross-progression in Overwatch 2. In addition, console players cannot access Overwatch 2 at all if they do not have a Battle.net account.

1	Input your country and date of birth.
2	Alternatively you can sign-up by connecting either your Facebook, Apple, or Google accounts.
3	Give your first and last name.
4	Input the email address you will use.
5	Review the terms.

7	Create your unique Battle Tag.
8	Download the Battle.net App.
