Players who encounter a problem where their Overwatch 2 is not loading can try fixing it through various methods, such as checking for the latest updates or reinstalling the game. Read on to check all the ways you can take to get your Overwatch 2 to load again.

Check For Any Updates
You can try checking if Overwatch 2 has an update, as it might be why your game is not loading. You can do so by clicking on the gear icon beside the play button and selecting "Check for Updates" in your Battle.net launcher.
If an update is available, Battle.net launcher will automatically download and install the latest update for Overwatch 2.
Server Maintenance Schedule and Updates (October 6, 2022)
Close All Applications
Try to close unnecessary applications in the background before playing Overwatch 2 to free up resources and potential software conflicts with the game, especially if you have a low-end PC.
Try to also temporarily disable your anti-virus programs to check if it's the one causing problems for your Overwatch 2 not to load.
Perform Scan and Repair
In the Battle.net launcher, you can try to scan and repair your game. You can do this by clicking on the gear icon beside the play button and selecting the "Scan & Repair" option. A prompt should pop out, and you only need to press on the "Begin Scan" to continue.
If the scan sees that your Overwatch 2 has corrupted or missing files, it will attempt to fix this by the end of the scan through a repair update.
Reset In-Game Settings
You can also try to reset your in-game settings without starting the game through the Battle.net launcher. Simply click on the gear icon beside the play button and select the "Game Settings" option.
Under "Game Settings", Click on the "Reset In-Game Options" button and proceed by pressing the reset button.
Reinstall the Game
If all the methods above fail, try reinstalling your game. You can do that by clicking on the gear icon near the play button, selecting the uninstall button, and installing it again once the process is over.
It might also be worth uninstalling the Battle.net launcher if you're willing to go the extra mile to be sure.
