List of Contents
The Summer Games is Overwatch 2's annual athletic summer event, held every year starting mid-July or early August. This event features summer and sports-themed skins and cosmetics, as well as the event-exclusive Lúcioball Brawl.
The Summer Games also feature event-exclusive Loot Boxes. They are marked with the event's logo and provide skins and cosmetics from the current and previous Summer Games events.
Lúcioball is the Summer Games' featured Brawl. In this game mode, two teams, each composed of three Lúcios, face each other in a soccer-based match where they need to use their Sonic Amplifiers to score goals with the giant ball inside the arena. The team that scores five points more than the opposing team, or scores the most before the 6-minute timer ends, wins the game.
In addition, Lúcio's abilities are modified in Lúcioball matches. The following list shows all of the ability changes during Lúcioball:
Currently, there are two versions of Lúcioball that that players can choose to play at any time during the event.
Version | Description |
---|---|
Lúcioball | This is the original version of Lúcioball, featuring two teams of three Lúcios and a single ball for scoring goals. |
Lúcioball Remix | This modified version of Lúcioball features a second ball inside the arena and periodically spawning Golden Balls that provide more points per goal. |
