Players across the globe are currently having a hard time connecting to Overwatch 2's server due to a DDoS attack. Read on to learn ways you can fix the game server connected failed error.

According to a tweet by Mike Ybarra, President of Blizzard Entertainment, Overwatch 2 is experiencing a DDoS (Distributed Denial-of-Service) attack on its servers, which causes server connection issues and drops for its player base.
There is nothing much we can do at this point but wait until Blizzard manages to fix the issue.
Overwatch 2 Servers Are Under DDoS Attack
If you're having problems connecting to Overwatch 2's server, try restarting your game. It might also be worth relaunching the battle.net launcher to resolve the issue if restarting the game didn't fix it for you.
Make sure you check your internet connection to see if your network connectivity is sufficient enough to play Overwatch 2. You can try restarting your router to see if that will work to resolve your issue.
