Overwatch 2 Servers Were Down at 6:00 PM PDT on October 6, 2022

Overwatch 2 servers were down under scheduled maintenance from 6:00 PM PDT on October 6, 2022 and lasted for 3 hours. The maintenance concluded at approximately 9:00PM PDT.

All Fixes and Updates

Bug Fixes for On-Going Server Issues

The maintenance will ship out a number of bug fixes regarding multiple on-going server issues such as the massive Queue Times and various Login Errors like the LC-208 and BC-153 Errors.

All Known Bugs, Errors, and Issues

SMS Protection Removed For Veteran Players

SMS Protection will no longer be required for accounts that were already connected to Battle.Net since Overwatch 1. This includes all players who have played the game since June 9, 2021.

Accounts that were not connected to Battle.Net prior to Overwatch 2's release, or completely new accounts are still required to enable SMS Protection to play the game.
