Error Code BN-043 appears to be a server connection related error code present in both the original Overwatch and Overwatch 2. Players have reported getting this error code when attempting to connect to the server while it was down for maintenance. It is also possible that this server connectivity issue can occur from local network connectivity issues, as well as server side problems.

Check Your Internet Connection

Check your internet connection to see if your network connectivity is sufficient enough to play Overwatch 2. Also try restarting your router to see if that resolves the issue.

Restart the Game & Battle.Net

If you are encountering error codes while attempting to play Overwatch 2, It may be worth relaunching the game, as well as the battle.net launcher if restarting the router did not resolve the issue.

Change Battle.Net Region
