How to Get Legacy Credits
Legacy Credits are credits that have carried over from Overwatch 1 and can be used to purchase certain cosmetic items in Overwatch 2. Read on to learn how to get them, how to check your current credits, and what they can be used on!

How to Get Legacy Credits

At present, there are no ways to attain Legacy Credits other than if you had earned them in Overwatch 1 before Overwatch 2 was released.

These credits should appear in your account and can be used to purchase skins and cosmetic items from Overwatch 1.

How to Check Your Legacy Credit

Hero Gallery
Open the Heroes menu and select a Hero
Note that they must be a hero from Overwatch 1.

Legacy Credits
On the upper right side, you'll see your available Overwatch Coins.
Click on the i symbol to view your other available credits.

Alternatively, when selecting items that can be bought with Legacy Credits, it will show on the upper right.

How to Use Legacy Credits

Poses Store
Legacy Credit can be used on various cosmetic items and skins in the store. But, unlike Overwatch Coins, it can only be used on specific items, namely items from Overwatch 1 like skins, voice lines, sprays, and more!

You can check which items can be bought with Legacy Credit by looking for those with the white credit symbol.
