Overwatch 2 - Scoreboard.jpg
Overwatch 2 introduced a new scoreboard that is more detailed and that shows how everyone did after a match. This would pull up stats like eliminations, assists, deaths, and many more. This allows players to see how their team did during the match and will allow them to strategize better.

For a better understanding of the scoreboard, here is the list of abbreviations from the scoreboard and their meanings.

E (Eliminations)

It indicates how many enemies you have killed during a match. It is not necessary for you to land the finishing blow on an opponent in order to gain the elimination points.

A (Assists)

Earning an assists points is gained by helping teammates land a kill shot. This includes healing teammate while simultaneously eliminating an opposing player.

D (Deaths)

This displays the number of times the player has died competing in a match.

H (Healing)

This shows the number of damage healed to teammates and yourself during a match. This is for support heroes only, so that would mean that any other type of hero would be 0.

MIT (Damage Mitigated)

This means that this statistic now covers not only the damage blocked by a shield but also abilities. Players can now observe teammates' deaths, eliminations, damage, and more. Examples of heroes and abilities that can mitigate damage are D.Va's Defense Matrix and Sigma's Kinetic Grasp.
