How to Get Your Skins Back

Why Are All My Skins Gone?

In their latest Bug Report update , Blizzard explained that for most players the missing skins and cosmetics (except for the Genji Happi Skin) are an account merging issue.

The automatic account merging process is not working properly for many console players, meaning their items and data from their battle.net accounts are failing to transfer over. The good news is, this data is still on the client server, meaning it is not lost.

How to Manually Merge Your Accounts

Blizzard's reccomended solution to the merging issue is to manually merge your accounts. Here are the steps to merge your battle.net and console accounts:

  • On your console account, login to Overwatch.
  • Scan the QR code when prompted using your mobile phone.
  • Connect to (or create) your battle.net account by entering the code provided on your console.
  • You will then need to confirm your account the next time you login in order to finalize the account merge process

If you encounter any issues during the above steps, try Blizzard's Account Merge Support Page.

I never had OW1 and I recently downloaded OW2 when I saw it was free in the Nintendo Switch marketplace, I unlocked skins from doing all of the challenges and such and I had them for a short while and now they’re all gone including my Reyes(Reaper), Slipstream(Tracer) and Overgrown(Bastion) and not sure if I’m missing any others as I can’t really remember to begin with since I’ve been using different hero’s and skins from my battle pass. Everything says locked. What do I do?
