Victory Condition: Defeat Cai Mao
To achieve victory, you have to defeat Cai Mao, scattering the last remaining vestiges of Cao Cao's forces.
Defeat Condition: Either Sun Quan or Zhou Yu is Forced to Flee
The mission will end in a loss if either Sun Quan or Zhou Yu is forced to flee. Keep an eye on both of their status as the battle progresses and provide assistance when necessary to avoid defeat.
How to Unlock Battle of Sanjiangkou
Finish Final Battle of Xiakou
This is the final mission for the Wu Faction in Chapter 5. Complete the previous mission Final Battle of Xiakou to unlock this one.

Head for Cai Mao
When the battle begins, immediately head towards Cai Mao and defeat any enemy officer you encounter along the way.
Brace Against the Enemy Volley
Once you reach the area full of ships, the enemy will launch an arrow volley in an attempt to stop your allies from boarding. Focus on taking out the officers bundled together at the center of the area.
Intercept the Enemy Advance
The enemy will try to regroup and simlutaneously launch a counterattack against Sun Quan. Intercept most of the enemy squads to allow Sun Quan to hold his own. Stay near Zhou Yu to assist when needed while continuing to take out enemy officers.
Flank with Han Dang
Once Han Dang conquers the base at the Eastern corner of the map, he'll start sailing towards Cai Mao's location. Take this time to help Sun Quan with any enemies, then regroup with Han Dang and allied forces for one final charge against Cai Mao.
Defeat Cai Mao
By this point, even with enemy reinforcements appearing from the North, you should have a clear shot at taking down Cai Mao. Beating Cai Mao completes the mission.
Battle of Sanjiangkou Rewards
Weapon Proficiency
Weapon Proficiency will be rewarded based on the weapon/s used in battle. Ranking up weapon proficiency raises Wanderer's level, and reaching certain levels will unlock new skill trees to spend skill points on.
Skill Points and Mount EXP
Skill points and Mount EXP are also awarded based on the number of enemies defeated and which Horse was used.
These rewards vary greatly depending on the Wanderer's performance during battle.
