Enter Battle With a Companion

Companion Selection Screen

To perform the Extreme Musou Attack, you have to enter battle with a companion. The Extreme Musou Attack is only available in combat with a companion, and will not be accessible otherwise.

Fill the Companion Swap Gauge

Companion

In battle, you have to fill both your own Musou Gauge as well as your companion's Swap/Musou Gauge. You will need approximately at least half on both gauges to perform the Extreme Musou Attack.

Once both gauges are filled, approach your companion. A yellow indicator between the two of you, alongside a matching prompt, will indicate that the attack can be performed. Press the appropriate prompt to unleash the attack.
