Escort Liu Bei and defeat enemy officers along the way until he reaches the escape point.

Defeat Condition: An Ally is Forced to Flee

You will fail the mission if any allied officer retreats. Keep an eye on your team's morale and capture enemy bases to raise it!

Defeat Enemy Officers to Progress Eliminate All Enemy Officers at the Second Gate Stay Close to Liu Bei Defeat the Bandit Chief Defeat Zhang He Jump Down and Climb a Ladder to Change Paths Escort Liu Bei to the Escape Point

Defeat Enemy Officers to Progress

Aid allies in defeating enemy officers and help Liu Bei reach the escape point.

Eliminate All Enemy Officers at the Second Gate

After arriving at the second gate, there will be several enemy officers guarding the area.

Take down all enemy officers and conquer the base to raise your team's morale and move forward.

Stay Close to Liu Bei

Once Guan Yu takes another route to stop other officers, Cao Cao's Forces will be launching an all-out attack to prevent Liu Bei from escaping, so stay close while eliminating enemies!

Defeat the Bandit Chief

Bandits will appear at the clifftop near a camp. Aid Zhou Cang in eliminating the Bandit Chief and catch up to Liu Bei.

Defeat Zhang He

Zhang He will appear and attempt to ambush Liu Bei. Defeat him and his forces to move forward.

Jump Down and Climb a Ladder to Change Paths

Once the paths are branching, jump down and climb a ladder nearby to cross to the other path and get close to Liu Bei. A short cutscene will play afterwards.

Escort Liu Bei to the Escape Point

Once all enemies are eliminated at the last enemy camp, destroy obstacles and escort Liu Bei to the escape point and win the battle.

Battle of Runan Rewards

Weapon Proficiency

Weapon Proficiency will be rewarded based on the weapon/s used in battle. Ranking up weapon proficiency raises Wanderer's level, and reaching certain levels will unlock new skill trees to spend skill points on.

Best Skills to Get First

Skill Points and Mount EXP

Skill points and Mount EXP are also awarded based on the number of enemies defeated and which Horse was used.

These rewards vary greatly depending on the Wanderer's performance during battle.
