Victory Condition: Defeat Zhang Chun and Qiuliju Defeat Condition: Gongsun Zan or Liu Yu Flees

Victory Condition: Defeat Zhang Chun and Qiuliju

Zhang Chun and Qiuliju must be defeated to win this battle. Zhang Chun will charge with the southern forces later in the battle, and Qiuliju will appear from the north as reinforcements.

Defeat Condition: Either Gongsun Zan or Liu Yu Flees

Gongsun Zan and Liu Yu's defeat will end the mission in a loss. Gongsun Zan will head towards the central area, and Liu Yu will remain in the main camp. It is recommended to aid their units when in peril to avoid losing the battle.

Read Liu Bei's Letter at the Inn

Reading Liu Bei's letter at the Inn unlocks the Suppression of You Province battle. The letter can be read as soon as Chapter 2 starts.

Conquer the Southern Base Aid the Central Unit Defeat Qiuliju Return to Main Camp Defeat Zhang Chun

Conquer the Southern Base

The mission will start with two units splitting to conquer the center and eastern bases of the enemy. Cover the southern side and occupy the first base down south. This base will buy time for when you return to the main camp later on in the mission.

Aid the Central Unit

Enemy reinforcements will come from the northern side and their main base, converging towards the center. Note that Gongsun Zan is at the central unit, and his defeat will end the mission. Head towards the center and aid Gongsun Zan in repelling the rebel forces.

Ignoring the central unit will usually lead to Gongsun Zan's defeat, ending the mission in a loss. It is imperative to head to the central unit as soon as the enemy reinforcements arrive.

Defeat Qiuliju

Qiuliju will appear after repelling the reinforcements at the center. Defeat Qiuliju to complete the first win condition of this mission.

Return to Main Camp

After Qiuliju's defeat, return to the main camp as soon as possible to aid Liu Yu. The rebel forces will have occupied the southern side, including the previously conquered base. Either help defeat the officer currently fighting Liu Yu, or look for Zhang Chun.

Defeat Zhang Chun

Zhang Chun is with the southern reinforcements, along with other officers. Defeat Zhang Chun fulfill the second win condition and finish the battle.

Remember to keep an eye out for Liu Yu's health when engaging in combat with Zhang Chun. It is recommended to aid Liu Yu to keep him alive and prevent losing the battle.

Suppression of you Province Rewards

Weapon Proficiency

Clearing this battle rewards weapon proficiency based on the weapon/s used in battle. Ranking up weapon proficiency raises Wanderer's level, and reaching certain levels will unlock new skill trees to spend skill points on.

Best Skills to Get First

Skill Points and Mount EXP

Using horses during the battle will reward experience for the mount used, and skill points are awarded based on the number of enemies defeated. These rewards will vary greatly on mount usage and enemy kills during the quest.
