During Chapter 3 of the main story, players can encounter Yuanhua, who will intermittently send the Wanderer on a quest to recover ingredients. There are a total of five ingredients scattered across the overworld.

The first herb ingredient to find is Billow Balm, located in Yan Province. Head east of Puyang to find the spot shown above. Once you've collected the ingredient, hand it over to Yuanhua to complete his request.

The next ingredient, Moongrass, is found near the shores close to Wan City in Jingzhou. Give it to Yuanhua, then head to an Inn or Tent and check your letters afterwards.

Arborgreen is the third herb, found near Xiapi Castle. Then, check your letters again after handing off the ingredient to Yuanhua.

The fourth ingredient, Crimson Cress, can be found by the water's edge near the very eastern portion of Jingzhou, close to Beihai. Once more, hand the herb over and view your letters afterwards.

Thistle of the Dawn Location

The final herb ingredient Yuanhua needs is the Thistle of the Dawn, found by the large lake close to Qu'a. Once collected, give it to Yuanhua for him to complete his cure to amnesia.
