How to Unlock Shui Jing Retreat

Unlocked During Chapter 2

The Shui Jing Retreat is unlocked at the beginning of Chapter 2. After unlocking it, you will be able to interact with or check bonds with officers and get rewards from collecting Old Coins.

Interact with Officers

You can check which officers are available to be interacted with in the map to raise their bond level in the retreat house.

All available officers will be shown in a list along with the province they are in, and you can find them in the map and interact with them to raise their bond level.

Apart from interacting with officers, you can also check the current level of your bonds with them in the retreat house.

Higher bonds with officers will net you some useful rewards, so try to regularly check how you're faring with your officers.

How to Increase Bonds and Bond Effects

Replay Bond Conversations

You can also replay previous bond conversations and interactions with any officer in the retreat house. Doing so will replay the cutsecene of the interaction.

Obtain Rewards from Collected Old Coins

As you play through the game, you will collect Old Coins from letters and picking them up in the overworld map.

You can get rewards depending on how many Old Coins you've collected so far in the retreat house.
