Dynasty Warriors Origins Pyroxene Overworld Collection

Pyroxene is a valuable resource found frequently across the World Map in various Provinces, making overworld farming the quickest and easiest method of gathering it.

Since Pyroxene tends to respawns in the same areas after collecting them, you can use Waymarks to travel between Provinces, prompting the resource to reappear on the map for efficient farming.

Letters in the Inn

Some Letters delivered to the Inn may contain Pyroxene as a token of thanks from Officers or strangers as you progress through the story. However, this is a more passive way of acquiring it and is not as frequent as overworld collection.

Appraise Old Coins

Dynasty Warriors Claim Rewards at Shui Jing Retreat

You can have your Old Coins appraised at Shui Jing Retreat in exchange for Pyroxene. While this method is slower compared to others, it can be profitable if you save up your Old Coins before having them checked in one go.

In total, you can earn 180 Pyroxene through this method. The amount of Pyroxene you receive increases after collecting 10, 70, 230, and 350 Old Coins.

Create Gems at the Inn

Dynasty Warriors Origins Create Gems

The only use for Pyroxene is to create Gems at an Inn. 1 Pyroxene is equivalent to 1 Gem, and you can spend multiple Pyroxene at once to create several Gems simultaneously.

Do note that the type of Gem created is determined by a lottery system, so you will not be allowed to allocate Pyroxene to any specific Gem you would like to craft.

Dynasty Warriors Origins Excess Gems Will Be Used as Upgrades

Any extra Gems created beyond the initial one will be used to upgrade the existing Gem of the same type.

Since creating Gems involve a randomized system of acquisition, this process may require a significant amount of Pyroxene, especially if you don't receive many duplicates of the Gem you want to upgrade.
