This is a list of all missables and points of no return in Dynasty Warriors: Origins. Read on to learn when you get locked out of aligning with factions and raising bonds with characters!

All Missables
Bond With Characters
Bonds with certain characters who die during the main events of the story are considered missable, since their Bond can't be increased anymore after they are killed. Their character will be greyed out in the Bond menu at the Shui Jing Retreat and their level will be stuck at whatever bond level you had before they died.
Make sure to max out your bond level with the characters during the main story. Otherwise, you'd have to wait until you complete the story and unlock the ability to replay battles.
How to Increase Bonds and Bond Effects
Faction Storylines
For completionists, it's impossible to play all story missions in 1 run of the game, as you'll be forced to choose 1 faction to join in Chapter 3. This means that you miss out on all of the 2 other faction's story missions from Chapter 4 onwards.
You'll get to play them only after beating the game once and unlocking the option to rewind back to earlier points in the story.

Faction Points of No Return - Chapter 3
Chapter 3 contains a few points of no return in regards to being locked out of certain factions. You don't have to make a final decision until the end of Chapter 3, but there are a few points where you can get locked out of a faction before the final decision.

Final Choice for Each Faction
The final choice scenario for each faction just give you the option between I'll join you. and I need some time to think. Joining them ends Chapter 3 and starts Chapter 4 with you locked into their faction.
The choice doesn't really matter for Shu / Liu Bei's faction since you're already locked out of Wu and Wei by that point. However, you can choose I need some time to think. for Wei or Wu, since you still can complete either of their faction's contributions before making your final decision.
