How to Unlock Each Weapon Type

Weapon Type	Battle How to Get
Sword	Chapter 1 Initial weapon. Available from the start.
Spear	Chapter 1: Battle of Guangyang Purchased at the weapons shop after the battle.
Gauntlets	Chapter 1: Battle of Guangzong Defeat Zhou Cang.
Wheels	Chapter 2: Suppression of You Province Obtained from one of the officers.
Podao	Chapter 2: Subjugation of the White Wave Bandits Obtained from one of the officers.
Staff	Chapter 2: Assassination Dong Zhou Defeat Dong Min (enemy in the gold room).
Twin Pikes	Chapter 2: Battle of Hulao Gate Assassinate Dong Zhou and defeat Zhang Liao. Note: Twins Pikes can be unlocked early by defeating Zhang Liao during Chapter 2: Assassination Dong Zhou.
Lance	Chapter 3: Battle of Xu Province Cao Cao route - Defeat Zhang Fei. Sun Jian route - Purchase in Shouchun after the battle. Lie Bei route - Defeat Ganjin.
Crescent Blade	Chapter 3: Rescue of Emperor Xian Cao Cao route - Enemy drops in the battle to rescue Emperor Xian. Sun Jian route - Enemy drops in the battle to escape from Danyang Lie Bei route - Defeat Cao Cao to rescue Lu Bu.
Halberd	Added to the weapons shop after clearing the story.

How to Obtain Weapons

Purchase from Weapons Shops

Weapons can be purchased when visiting towns on the World Map. Players simply need to select the Weapons Shop option when entering a town, then buy from the available selection.

Acquired During Battles

Weapons can also be obtained by defeating enemy officers during battles.

How to Increase Weapon Proficiency

Keep Using the Weapon

The only way to increase the protagonist's weapon proficiency is by repeatedly using the weapon during battles.

Weapon proficiency refers to the protagonist's proficiency for using a weapon type, not a specific weapon. This means that regardless of the specific weapon the protagonist is using, his weapon proficiency for that weapon type will increase.

Unlocks Attacks

As weapon profeciency increases, new attacks are unlocked for the weapon type.

How to Equip Weapons

Equip in the Battle Preparation

The only way to equip weapons is through the Battle Preparation under the Equipment tab. Once on the Equipment tab, simply select the Weapon slot, then choose a weapon from the available selection.

Furthermore, weapons acquired in battle can be switched freely at any time using the same method mentioned above.

How to Sell Weapons

Sell in Shops

Weapons can be sold when visiting towns on the World Map. Players simply need to select the Sell option when entering a town, then choose the weapons they want to sell.

The selling price of weapons depend on many factors, such as grade and number of traits.
