Block Bailuan's Aerial Spin Attacks

Bailuan can use an aerial attack with summoned illusions. It is best to block it instead of dodging since you may not be able to dodge far away enough from his and his illusions' swings.

After blocking this attack, simply perform an attack combo against him or respond with a Battle Art.

Stay at Bailuan's Feet During Projectile Attack

Bailuan will rise to the air to charge up to launch several slash projectiles at you. When he start charging up, you will want to stay at his feet so that his projectiles overshoot you. Take the opportunity to attack him when he lands.

Bailuan Can Use Ice Attacks

Bailuan will start using AoE ice attacks more often the higher your blue gauge is in the duel. These attacks are unblockable, so you will want to dodge them instead at the right time.

Duel Time is Unlimited

The duel against Bailuan will have infinite timer, and unilke other duels, the conditions for losing this one is absolute defeat. Feel free to fight patiently when duelling with Bailuan.
