All Tactics
Tactics are special commands during battles to perform strategic manuevers, such as advance or cavalry charge.
Some tactics can trigger Dramatic Success when used in approriate situations.

 Battle Roar |
300s | Let out a war cry, causing enemy troops to falter.
Dramatic Success: Lowers the enemy's Courage. |
 Catapult Barrage
|
600s | Unleash a devastating catapult attack.
Dramatic Success: Lowers the enemy's Courage. |
 Ceaseless Fury |
180s | Unleash an unrelenting barrage of powerful attacks on an enemy officer, staggering them. |
 Charge |
150s | Charge with infantry. |
 Chariot Charge |
400s | Unleash a devastating chariot charge.
Dramatic Success: Lowers the enemy's Courage. |
 Defensive |
180s | Establish a defensive formation, blunting enemy attacks and reducing damage. |
 Encirclement |
210s | Surround the enemy before unleashing an attack. Deals a large amount of damage to the target enemy. |
 Encouragement |
60s | Strengthen allied troops. |
 Flaming Volley |
240s | Unleash a powerful fire arrow volley.
Dramatic Success: Lowers the Courage of enemies hit from high ground. |
 Invigoration |
90s | Greatly strengthens allied troops. |
 Mounted Charge |
420s | Perform a fearsome cavalry charge.
Dramatic Success: Lowers the Courage of enemies hit at a distance. |
 Order to Defend |
30s | Order your guards to defend a location. The guards will continue to defend the spot until they receive an order to return or are defeated. |
 Order to March |
30s | Order your guards to move to a specific area. The guards will continue marching until they receive an order to return or are defeated. |
 Order to Protect |
30s | Order your guards to protect an allied officer. The guards will continue protecting the target until they receive an order to return or are defeated. |
 Spear Wall |
90s | Take up an intercepting formation with spears.
Dramatic Success: Repels enemy charges and lowers their Courage. |
 Stone Throw |
240s | Unleash an extremely powerful volley of rocks.
Dramatic Success: Lowers the Courage of enemies hit from high ground. |
 Volley |
150s | Unleash a volley.
Dramatic Success: Lowers the Courage of enemies hit from high ground. |
How to Unlock Tactics
Available at Chapter 2 - Battle of Sishui Gate
Tactics only become available at Chapter 2 - Battle of Sishui Gate. Volley is the only tactic available upon unlocking tactics.
How to Equip Tactics
Equip in the Battle Preparation
The only way to equip weapons is through the Battle Preparation under the Squad tab. Once on the Squad tab, simply select an Tactic slot, then choose a Tactic from the available selection.
A maximum of three (3) Tactics can be equipped.
How to Use Tactics
Press the Eyes of the Sacred Bird / Tactics Button

To use Tactics, players need to press the button assigned to the action to bring up the wheel, then select from the three Tactics they've chosen.
The Tactics action has a default button that depends on the console players are using, but it can be manually assigned in the Controls menu under the System tab in the settings.
