Complete Search for Memories Questline

Dynasty Warriors Origins - Search for Memories Cutscene

The Shards of the Past - Search for Memories questline tasks you to obtain five herbs for Yuanhua. Handing over all five herbs and continuing to Chapter 4 will earn you the Musou Rage ability. This ability unlocks Ultimate Musou Attacks.

How to Use Ultimate Musou Attack

Enter War God Rage With Full Musou Bar Then Use Musou Attack

Ultimate Musou Attack operates similarly to True Musou Attack, except your Musou Gauge has to be completely full before entering War God Rage. Using a Musou Attack afterwards unleashes the powerful Ultimate Musou Attack, signified by the wide impact effect.

How to Use the True Musou Attack

Default for Companions' True Musou Attacks

Even before you unlocked Ultimate Musou Attacks, your companions have been using it whenever you execute a True Musou Attack with them. Sadly this does mean that unlocking Ultimate Musou Attacks does not buff your companions' power.

However, do not let this discourage you from switching to companions, as their Musou bar is separate from Wanderer's. They still bring extra firepower with you regardless.
