Capturing Bases provides numerous advantages for you and your forces in Dynasty Warriors: Origins. Learn how to find Base locations and what the benefits are for capturing them in this guide!

Capture enemy bases by defeating the soldiers and officers stationed in them. Doing so will convert that base over into an ally base.

Meat Bun Pots can appear in all Bases, even in those that you have not captured yet. You can recover health this way as you gain control of enemy bases. It is always a good practice to keep your health topped up, especially since there are only a few ways to heal yourself on the battlefield.
Note: You can only see Meat Bun Pot locations on the map if you have unlocked the Meat Perceiver Skill in the Adept Skill Tree.

Successfully capturing an enemy Base boosts your force's Morale. The higher your force's Morale, the easier it is for you and your allies to win battles across the map. Ally officers are even able to win battles on their own without your assistance if their Morale is high enough.
Additionally, enemy forces with low Morale have less Fortitude and will be easier to take down. Enemy officers also cannot use Tactics if their Morale is low, making combat much easier.

Staying in an ally Base gradually replenishes your number of Guards if you have lost some in battle. Capturing enemy Bases gives you more opportunities to gather your forces so you can better execute Tactics on the battlefield.
