Available from the Start

The Sword is the protagonist's initial weapon in the main story. It's available from the start.

Sword Arts

Arts Bravery Req. Effect
(Sp.) Absconding Slash (Sp.) Absconding Slash 3 Deliver a single slash and then move back quickly.
Sp. Effect:
Able to stop certain attacks and stagger the enemy.
Divine Eagle Dance Divine Eagle Dance 7 Deliver a rapid flurry of sword strikes, generating a number of energy flares around you which explode after a few minutes.
Falcon Flurry Falcon Flurry 3 Perform a flurry of forward slashes in a concentrated manner to form a powerful attack.
Fickle Fury Fickle Fury 2 Unleash a single slash attack from a special stance. If attacked while in this stance, you will counterattack with a kick followed by a powerful slash.
Flying Dragon Slash Flying Dragon Slash 4 Jump up to launch a shockwave in the air. Can hit distant enemies within a large area. Can also be performed in midair.
Mad Blade Rush Mad Blade Rush 2 Slash around you while running, catching enemies in your path and then sending them flying.
Shadowless Blade Shadowless Blade 1 Spin around while swinging your sword, generating a whirlwind in front of you to strike the enemy.
Swallow Slash Swallow Slash 2 Reverse your sword grip and perform a wide slashing attack in front of you. Can be performed rapidly.
