Shu True Ending Guide

Finish the Game Once

Before you are able to obtain the true ending for Shu (Liu Bei's Forces), you must first complete the game and obtain the normal ending for Shu. Doing so will unlock Story Mode, which you can access while resting at inns. Story Mode allows you to replay previous missions with your current level and equipment.

Replay Battle of Changban

If you finished the game once while aligned with Liu Bei's Forces, you can easily obtain the true ending for Shu by opening up Story Mode from an inn, and replaying the Chapter 5 mission Battle of Changban.

Defeat Cao Cao's Large Force

In the Battle of Changban, instead of supporting Liu Bei in his escape, you will need to face against Cao Cao's Large Force in the northern part of the map and defeat them all on your own.

Cao Cao's Large Force has its own health bar, however, defeating Cao Cao first will instantly disband his Large Force, earning you the victory.

Play to The End

After following the above steps and defeating Cao Cao, play through the rest of the Shu route as usual to obtain the true ending for Shu.

How to Join Shu Faction (Liu Bei)

1. Reach Chapter 3
2. Complete Contributions for Liu Bei
3. Choose to Join Liu Bei's Forces

Reach Chapter 3

The branching paths for the three factions begins in Chapter 3. None of the choices you've made in Chapter 1 and 2 will affect which faction you join, as everything is decided in Chapter 3, so make sure you're at this point of the story.

Complete Contributions for Liu Bei

While in Chapter 3, you will be asked to make Contributions toward the three factions' forces. Make sure to complete at least two Contributions towards Liu Bei's Forces in order to open up the Shu route, which naturally leads to the Shu ending.

Choose to Join Liu Bei's Forces

If you have completed Contributions for two or more factions, you will be forced to choose between them. However, completing Contributions solely for Liu Bei will very likely make you enemies with the other two factions, so you will have no choice but to side with Shu.

Trophy	Description
A Truly Just World G: 30	Complete the Shu story with the true ending.

Obtaining the true ending for Liu Bei's Forces rewards you with an achievement called A Truly Just World.
