Victory Condition: Defeat Huang Zu
Defeat Huang Zu and his forces after opening the main castle gates to win the battle.
Victory Condition 2: Defeat Gan Ning
After Ling Cao dies and Ling Tong becomes furious, the victory condition will change to defeat Gan Ning as top priority due to him being the strongest threat on the battlefield.
Defeat Condition: Sun Quan Flees
You will be defeated if Sun Quan retreats from the battlefield.
Make sure to assist Sun Quan when needed, raise your team morale to strengthen allies, and break through enemy defenses easier!
How to Unlock Subjugation of Huang Zu
Clear Subjugation of Lujiang
Finish Subjugation of Lujiang in Chapter 5 to proceed and unlock Subjugation of Huang Zu.

Capture the First Enemy Base
Defeat enemy officers while heading towards the first enemy camp and capture it.
Ling Cao and Ling Tong will also be boarding the ship to head towards Huang Zu at the main castle gates.
Capture the Enemy Camp Near the Pier
Despite the warnings about Ling Cao dying and Ling Tong being furious, stay and capture the Enemy Camp near the pier!
Team Morale Falls After Ling Cao Dies
Allied team morale will drop by a huge amount after the report about Ling Cao dying reaches everyone.
Capturing the enemy camp near the pier and defeating enemy officers nearby are keys to stabilizing your team's morale!
Victory Condition Changes to Defeat Gan Ning
After Ling Cao dies and Ling Tong becomes furious, the victory condition will change into Defeat Gan Ning and he will start advancing towards Sun Quan at the main camp.
An enemy ambush will also break out by this time, so take out as much enemies as possible and assist allies in need.
Intercept Enemies Heading For Sun Quan
Once the team morale is regained and stabilized, make haste and intercept enemy groups heading for Sun Quan!
Defeat as much enemy forces as possible before Gan Ning arrives.
Enemy Forces Start Using Fire Volley Tactics
Enemy officers will start using Fire Volley tactics and rain fire arrows on allied forces!
Locate the officers and take them down as soon as possible to avoid further team morale loss.

Defeat Gan Ning Once He Arrives
Gan Ning will arrive shortly and head towards Sun Quan's main camp. Intercept and defeat him once he arrives.
Beware of Gan Ning's musou attacks, as they pack a hard punch to your HP if not avoided or interrupted in time.
Break through his defenses with strong attacks, War God Rage, and true musou attacks with your companion as needed!
Subjugation of Huang Zu Rewards
Weapon Proficiency
Weapon Proficiency will be rewarded based on the weapon/s used in battle. Ranking up weapon proficiency raises Wanderer's level, and reaching certain levels will unlock new skill trees to spend skill points on.
Skill Points and Mount EXP
Skill points and Mount EXP are also awarded based on the number of enemies defeated and which Horse was used.
These rewards vary greatly depending on the Wanderer's performance during battle.
