Focus on Blocking and Evading

The enemy behavior in the Battle Tournament consists of unleashing long combos that can stagger Wanderer in place. It is recommended to play it safe and focus on blocking and/or evading instead, and only attack when the opportunity presents itself.

How to Evade

Equip the Twin Pikes Weapon

The Twin Pikes weapon has a combo that suspends the enemy midair, followed by repeated strikes that can greatly accumulate the top gauge in duels. Note that the initial strike of the combo has a short range, requiring the player to stay close and defensive until they see an opportunity for a counterattack.
