| 1 |  Make your way through enemy officers and locate Zhang Liao in the middle of the battlefield, while Xun You and Jia Xu head towards the flood gates. |
| 2 |  Eliminate enemy officers and avoid contact with Lu Bu. Proceed to locate Zhang Liao immediately before the engineers finish sabotaging all floodgates. |

Locate Zhang Liao Immediately
Despite situations going on the rise quickly, ignore other objectives and focus on finding Zhang Liao.
There will be unavoidable fights due to opening enemy camp gates, but make sure to only take down the ones you need and quickly locate Zhang Liao.
Ignore Lu Bu's Advance and Focus on Objective
At some point, Lu Bu will show up on the map and advance toward Allied Bases. Ignore him and focus on finding Zhang Liao.
Accumulate Musou and Spirit Gauge
Make sure to also eliminate enemies and gather enough Musou and Spirit energy to use War God Rage, Extreme Musou Attack, and True Musou Attacks with your companion.

Defeat Zhang Liao Before Floodgates Open
After arriving in the middle of the battlefield, prioritize defeating Zhang Liao.
If you manage to arrive before Xun You and and Jia Xu finish setting up the floodgates with engineers, there should be plenty of time to defeat Zhang Liao.
Defeat and capture him to complete the objective!
