How to Get EX Weapons

Obtain as Drops

Defeating enemies and officers will sometimes make them drop EX weapons with different traits. You can easily pick up weapons dropped in the field by simply walking up to them.

Purchase in Weapon Shop

Buying Weapons

EX Weapons are also sold in weapon shops found in cities in the overworld map and can be bought with gold. Do note that you will unlock more EX wepaons to purchase as you progress through the game.

What are EX Weapons?

Stronger Versions of Regular Weapons

EX weapons are stronger versions of some regular weapons. They have a higher Attack stat and a higher grade than their more common counterparts. They are also slightly more expensive when bought in a weapon shop.

For example, the regular Sky Splitter Podao has an Attack stat of 205 and has a grade of five, while the Sky Splitter EX has an attack stat of 264 and has a grade of six.
