Use the Eyes of the Sacred Bird in order to change the tide of battle and gain the upper hand against your enemies. Alternatively, you can also utilize it to find your way around the World Map if you are lost.

Check the State of the Battle
One of the key uses of Eyes of the Sacred Bird is to check on the state of your fellow officers, as using this shows the health of your ally and enemy officers. If you see one of your allies' health getting too low, run to their aid immediately before they are forced to flee. You will need all the help you can get to achieve victory in battle!
Use Tactics with Your Guards
Once you obtain Guards, accessing their Tactics through the Eyes of the Sacred Bird becomes second nature to you the further along the game you get. Utilize the time-slowing capability of this feature to strategize in battle as well. Just be careful as you can still get damaged while using Eyes of the Sacred Bird.

Locate Censers to Stop Sorceries
Sorceries may occur in some battles, like phantom soldiers that will not stop spawning or tornadoes that wreak havoc on your forces. To stop these sorceries, you have to find and destroy Censers.
Censers emit a bright purplish-pink incense when using Eyes of the Sacred Bird. Follow the trail and smash the Censers to remove the Sorceries from battle.
Find Your Way in the World Map
Not only can the Eyes of the Sacred Bird help you find your way in battle, it can also aid you through the World Map! Use it to find your next destination, or even find valuable items such as Pyroxene or Old Coins.
If Censers emit a bright purplish-pink incense in battle, using Eyes of the Sacred Bird in the overworld map emits a white incense instead.

Unlocked During the Battle of Yingchuan
You can start using Eyes of the Sacred Bird once you reach the Battle of Yingchuan, which is the second Main Story Misson in the game.
