To complete this battle, deal enough damage to Zhang Jiao to cause him to retreat. This means reducing him to at least 1/3 of his HP. Zhang Jiao will be found at the camp to the north of the battle map accompanied by a Large Force.
Prevent Dong Zhuo from fleeing the battlefield by watching his condition, assisting him in fights, and raising the team's morale.
The Battle of Guangzong becomes accessible after progressing the story following the completion of the Battle of Wan Castle.

The recommended route to completing this mission is by going straight North and securing the central area of the battle map. Securing the center should at least give you quick back-and-forth access to the surrounding areas.
Once you are at the central area to clear enemies, take care to look out for enemy reinforcements that can appear at the south of the battle map where your base is situated.
After having cleared most of the surrounding areas, your allies should converge at the central area to prepare for a charge going north into Zhang Jiao's camp. It is best to join up with them to make it easier to deal with Zhang Jiao's Large Force especially when he starts using Grand Tactics.
Once in the battle against Zhang Jiao's Large Force, you can choose to directly attack Zhang Jiao. Reducing him to 1/3 of his HP will cause him to escape. Alternatively, you can also cut down his officers and army first to make it easier to deal with him.
This Zhang Jiao is an easier version of the Chapter 1 final boss featured in the subsequent mission Final Battle against the Yellow Turbans.
Weapon Proficiency will be rewarded based on the weapons used in battle. Ranking up weapon proficiency raises Wanderer's level, and reaching certain levels will unlock new skill trees to spend skill points on.
Skill points and Mount EXP are also awarded based on the number of enemies defeated and which Horse was used.
These rewards vary greatly depending on the Wanderer's performance during battle.
